[ ]THE CASLTE OF QUEN , (18 sub-boards)
the majestic, towering castle acts not only as home to the royals, but also as a symbol of the quen kingdom. standing atop a beautiful hill, the castle is quite grand, much taller than it is wide. the castle grounds are much like the rest of quen, sloping hills and lush forests. while the outside is a thing of beauty, the inside is simply breath taking. with marble floors and golden banisters, it reflects the wealth of the country's golden age. the many rooms are all spacious, each decorated with a different color theme, ranging from the greens of the surrounding land to the ivory of the clouds. and of course, everything is always in spit-spot shape for many royals and nobles of different lands visit and stay here.

[ ]THE TOWN OF QUEN , (14 sub-boards)
large yet quaint, the town is the heart of the kingdom of quen. shops and businesses lien the streets and it seems that people are busying about at every hour of the day. blacksmiths, housewives, husbands, children, all of them can be found either at their place of work, or roaming about in the streets. if you are looking for a non-royal from the quen kingdom, then you're best to look here.

[ ]THE CASLTE OF ALVARIE , (4 sub-boards)
if you thought quen's castle was something to see, take a look at alvarie's. the two countries have been playing 'my castle is bigger than your castle' for years, and in general size, alvarie conquered. this monstrous fortress is nestled on a cliff overseeing the sea, the walls meeting the very edge of the earth. the castle of alvarie is simply a giant, there's no denying it. made of white stone, with numerous towers, the landmark is all thanks to alvarie's late king and queen who's reign was one to go in the books. however, the inside of this grand palace is not nearly as eye catching as the exterior. that isn't to say it's a complete mess, but since the coronation of the new ruler, the silver has lost its luster and the war trophies that the country conquered over the decades seem obsolete now.

00
[ ]THE TOWN OF ALVARIE ,
although it is similar in setup to quen's town, the comparison stops there. the dynamic is totally different in alvarie. the shops are their own, and the heart of the town is a large performance stage where the court's jester, and some of the local talents periodically give shows for the viewing pleasure of the kingdom's residents. oh yes, it's an entirely different atmosphere indeed.

[ ]THE SEA ,
either a hypnotizing maiden, or a haunting nightmare, the sea means many different things to different people. but one thing is always true, it is a mystery that only a select few are lucky enough to understand and live on. the others simply wade in the shallow waters of the shore and play along the white sand beaches that connect our world to the one below the water's surface.

00
[ ]THE RIVERS ,
from the mightly drilik in the north, to the tranquil kur in the south east, the rivers that run into the ocean are their own beautiful majesties. following one is the one sure shot to finding your way when lost as most villages are built up near the rushing waters. brave adventurers are commonly seen rafting down stream or following the current to their destination, wherever it may be.

00
[ ]THE MEADOWS ,
lush and grassy, this is the realm of elven folk who prefer to step out of the forests and live where the sun can reach them. but not all that inhabit the fields are peaceful, infact, for centuries these vast plains have acted as battle fields in countless wars. perhaps that is why the elves - who never bother in the affairs of other races - stay, not to see the death of mortals, but to act as historians, always remembering the tragic events and hoping future generations can learn from the lessons set before them.

[ ]THE VILLAGE OF FRAM ,
a place of magic, many magical beings are known to travel here from a far. a market sells rare potions or spells while the local tavern, the squelching frog, acts as a welcome place for those who may not be easily welcomed in a tavern full of humans. be careful though, if you aren't magical or on the 'in' with the usual crowd, it's easy to get yourself in trouble.

00
[ ]THE DARK FOREST ,
said to be haunted by the ghosts of ancient warriors, only the bravest adventurers dare to explore these woods. it seems that the sun never reaches past the tree tops, which is exactly how its inhabitants, the fairies, like it. some say a pack of werewolves live in the forest, others suspect much worse, and of course, the mischievous little fairies don't make its reputation anymore pleasant. any chance they get to trick the poor fool who gets lost in these woods is a celebration for the entire clan.

00
[ ]THE VILLAGE OF ROOK ,
a much less creepy village than fram, rook is a small farming community known for its friendly attitude towards travelers and plump women. this village is very peaceful and quiet, and the only drama that occurs is between the village's two taverns. the handsome prince and the booted cat have been bitter rivals since the prince opened up two years after the booted cat. the owners and workers at the taverns are always trying to persuade travelers to stay at their inn and not the competition's. the rivalry has gotten so bitter, infact, that the booted cat's owner even tried burning down the handsome prince!

00
[ ]THE CAVES OF NO RETURN ,
like the name suggests, no one ever comes out of these caves in the mountains. no one knows for sure whats inside, but some suspect a dragon or a clan of cannibals. sometimes, young and cocky knights approach the caves on a dare, but very few are actually courageous to go in, and the ones who do... well, you figure it out.

00
[ ]THE WITCHES' HOME ,
it seems like every witch lives in this old, decaying castle. after all, witches need evil castles, and it isn't like there are millions just waiting for a new inhabitant. and certainly, none would be in such prime real estate like this one. made of pure ebony, the castle rests on the tallest mountain, shrouded by clouds and chill. it takes a strong person to make it to the fortress; one must pass trolls and a swamp and then find their way out of a maze. and once you're through that, it's the actual entering the castle thats the hardest part. there doesn't seem to be any doors, just some very high up windows, but maybe you can find an underground tunnel that leads inside.

00
[ ]THE PORTS ,
out to sea with you! thats what the dock workers call out to those setting sail out of the busiest ports in the land. traders from all over come in from here, giving and receiving cargo from all of the great lands. sometimes you can even find a ship that is taking commercial passengers out to sea, though it's important to be careful and not just go with anyone who looks friendly. they could be a witch, or worse.

[ ]THE SEA , (1 sub-board)
the deepest part of the sea is home to many fantastic creatures. fish, whales, sharks, and mermaids. yes, mermaids, or merpeople rather. the enchanting sirens rule the waves with a fierce passion. while they may not try to meddle with the affairs on land too often, if it meant protecting their home, they'd fight to the death. the merfolk aren't too friendly to sailors, often luring them overboard with their haunting good looks and music.

00
[ ]MERMAID COVE , (4 sub-boards)
mist surrounds this lagoon, a chill in the air even on the hottest of days. indeed, this isn't your typical mermaid's lagoon. infact, the cove is quite different. the waters are dark and deep, frigid to the human touch, and it's hard for a land-walker to determine where the land ends, and water begins. this wouldn't be much of a problem else where, except that legend says merfolk will grab a land-walker and drag them to the bottom of the sea floor with out notice.

00
[ ]DEATH ISLAND ,
long ago, this island was thriving as the first settlement in the area. that was centuries and centuries ago, long before the elves came even. no one knows what happened to the inhabitants of this island but ancient scrolls from the ruins have been roughly translated by scholars. it appears that slowly, the population lost all sanity and went from being a civilized, and advanced population, to a haunted and paranoid one. morbid scriptures were carved into the buildings, that still stand today, and sailors claim to hear terrible screams from the island at night. no one has set foot on the island in decades, fear that whatever mental disease plagued the first settlers would strike again.
